Jesus says that he is to be lifted up and only then can the Holy Spirit work to bring people to Him.
|Jesus Teachings were unique and revolutionary in His time.|
In fact His teachings still are revolutionary.
in as much as what He teaches goes against the feelings and ways of much of humaity.
His teachings go against selfish ambition and help us live an uplifting and joyful life despite the complexities and depressive society in which we live.
|The name Christian implies that a person is a follower of the teachings and consequently the ways taught by Jesus; what Jesus said and did.|
Jesus said that Christians would be known by their “fruit”; our fruit being what we do and say. In exactly the same way as we know a tree by its fruit, we can see a Christian by the way a person acts.
